The Macaulay Land Use Research Institute (United Kingdom)
The Macaulay Land Use Research Institute (MLURI) is an international centre for research and consultancy, primarily on the environmental and social consequences of rural land uses, but increasingly on energy and climate change issues. MLURI has particular expertise in socio-economics, sustainability science, and interdisciplinary research. Its work is funded by the Scottish Executive, the European Commission, and other competitive funding sources. MLURI has a long history of pariticipating in and coordinating multidisciplinary research projects, including products funded in Framework 7 and previous EU Framework Programmes. Within this project, MLURI will lead and focus on Work Package 6: Synthesis and Policy Solutions. |
